Family Life: I am a part of a transnational & trilingual family and the 4th child of 6! My mother is a Malaysian immigrant and my father is a Palestinian refugee. I was born and raised in Malaysia and moved to the U.S in 2006. I attended an International Islamic School for elementary and attended a public middle school, high school and College in the United States. I speak Arabic, Bahasa Malaysia, and English fluently. 

Interests/ Hobbies: An avid reader- favorite genre is non-fiction and poetry. I enjoy the outdoors and cooking in my free time.

Why do you work in Early Childhood Education? 

I love working in Early Childhood Education because children are absolutely brilliant. They continue to teach me so much about myself and the world around me!
